Herman Cain's Hidden Nine with Peter Schiff 2/2 Video Clips.
Alex speaks with Peter Schiff, investor, economic advisor and former candidate, on his partial support for Herman Cain's 9-9-9 tax plan. Schiff will explain his point of view on how to fix the economy and reduce the oppressive tax burden on American businesses. schiffradio.com Peter Schiff Tuesday, October 18, 2011 Herman Cain has been gaining much traction with his 9-9-9 Plan, a bold proposal to replace our dysfunctional tax code with what could be a simpler, less invasive, and more economically stimulative alternative. While I don't agree with the full spectrum of Mr. Cain's policy choices, I applaud his courage on the tax front. Judging by his rising poll numbers, this appreciation is widely shared. However, the plan has deep flaws, the most glaring of which is its creation of a hidden payroll tax which represents a fourth "nine." This serious pitfall has been unmentioned by Mr. Cain and overlooked by those who have analyzed his plan. Cain would replace the current system of income and payroll taxes with a 9% flat-rate personal income tax, a 9% corporate tax, and a 9% national sales tax. Great idea. Such a system would unburden businesses, provide a tax cut for most Americans, and shift taxation to consumption and away from income generation. This is exactly what our economy needs. But unlike our current corporate tax system, the plan eliminates the deductibility of wages and salaries from corporate income. The net effect is the creation of a brand new 9% tax on wages ...
Home Security Systems Reviews - What is the Best Home Security System
Home security is becoming increasingly important to homeowners. Installing a good home security system and plan will keep you and your family safe from harm. It is something everyone should consider, whether you live in a large, crowded city with many witnesses, or in a small, quiet town with few or none. Prevention and awareness is the key, and a few simple, inexpensive and easy to use home security products can make all the difference. The police and fire departments do excellent jobs but they can't be every where so it falls to us to help in the protection of our homes.
Buying a home is a milestone for most people, but when you take on the liability of a home, you become liable for all incidences that may occur because of your stance on home security. A residence without a home security system is approximately three times more likely to be broken into than one without.
Home security is an ongoing concern for nearly everybody. As long as there are people who have homes containing possessions, there are others who would, provided the opportunity, break into those homes to steal those possessions. It is important to have security because crime doesn't go away, it keeps growing.
And all you may ever need is to have a fence, video cameras, covered windows, barred doors, double locks, internal security system and motion detectors, a dog, a safe deposit box, a hidden safe, and as a last resort, a shotgun waiting for the unauthorized intruder. Basically, it's all about warding off those persons who try to make unauthorized entries or breach.
The good news is that these days home security is no longer something available only to those who own multi-million dollar mansions built on sprawling estates. Thanks to recent advances in technology, the average homeowner can now fully protect the family with home security systems that incorporate security cameras, fire alarms, burglar alarms and other home security surveillance systems - including medical alert systems at a small price.
So having your home secured is an important factor, and there are many security measures a homeowner can take, from trimming bushes back to installing deadbolt locks and motion sensing lights. It's just a matter of finding the right home security for your protection.
In this episode the team from Mighty Car Mods show some basic car security ideas. The last thing you want is a thief driving off with your mighty ride, we show you a simple, and inexpensive way to help stop that happening...
A tour of one version of an actual and current USAF Pilot Survival vest by Nutnfancy. In this four part series I go over the non-classified items in the vest and impart a little philosophy as I go. The vest itself is made by Ultimate Survival Technologies (mostly a military supplier) and is an outstanding, functional design. It has numerous pouches that can be configured in a variety of secured locations. Note that each item is also 'baggied' for moisture resistance and tethered to the vest for security. Strong points of this particular vest are its signaling and communication capabilities. This vest shows a basic loadout which is often supplemented by GPS units pre-loaded for theater, extra ammo, cold weather supplies, and other items. Several improvements to this vest could include: a medium sized fixed blade survival knife (like the KaBar Utility Knife, the Ontario RAT-7, or Fallkniven A1), better flashlight (like Streamlight TL-2), better multi-tool (like Leatherman Charge), better water storage devices, inclusion of Trioxane fire starter, double mag pouch for M9 pistol, CamelBak system, and an emphasis on lightening the overall carry weight. However upgrading the items in a USAF vest like this is often limited by scarce command/unit funding and the military supply system (NSN) that often excludes the best and most suitable gear. Note: Pilot I was trying to remember was Scott O' Grady. Apologize for the poor quality of this video series, I am working to fix it!

Paul Ryan on Meet the Press: We Need a Clean Break from the Politics of the Past Video Clips.
House Budget Committee Paul Ryan of Wisconsin joins NBC's Meet the Press to highlight The Path to Prosperity: budget.house.gov Ryan highlights the House Republicans' success in cleaning up the Democrats' budget mess for the current fiscal year, but underscored the need to "move from talking about saving billions of dollars to going on to saving trillions of dollars." Regarding the President's request to raise the debt ceiling, Ryan argued that you first need "real spending cuts and real spending controls, real caps on spending going forward so we can take pressure off the debt and get this country on the right fiscal path." Regarding too many politicians focused on the next election at the expense of the next generation, Ryan called for "a clean break from the politics of the past. Both parties do this to each other. Both parties use hyper rhetoric, both parties use all of this demagoguery. And what happens? We have political paralysis and we don't fix the country's problems, but we have a debt crisis staring us in the face and that's what's got to get fixed." On the futile effort to chase ever-higher spending with ever-higher taxes: "The problem with a bunch of tax increases -- the President just raised taxes 0 billion [in his health care law], he's calling for new .5 trillion in tax increases [in his budget] --you slow down economic growth. We want job creation and economic growth. We don't think the answer to prosperity is borrowing and spending more money. We got ...
Physical Vs Logical Security - Fire and Chemical Security Threat
Logical security deals with the software and data of a system while physical security is related to the hardware. To protect the logical systems the hardware must be physically secure. This comes about in restricting access to server rooms, even if such a simple addition as a lock and key. Protecting the system from all feasible man-made and natural threats, these can range from earthquakes to break-ins. increasingly in this day and age more security is driven towards the logical; the idea of a single rogue "hacker" attacking a system from some dark basement has become a romanticized threat to every business.
This can cause the physical to be over looked, when in reality the people skilled enough, and with the desire to get by today top end firewalls and make a clean break with whatever they are tempting still does not compare to the number of physical crime.
In the case of fire or chemical threats it is smart to begin with prevention. Modern building codes for office buildings incorporate fire retardant materials. In the case of 9/11 builders realized that the high heat actually melted steel beams and that had there been more fire retardant upon these beams the building may have last longer. Moreover, we are still seeing the after effects of the chemicals released in the disaster upon the rescue workers and survivors.
Prevention is not enough by itself, a good fire detection system that responds to either (or a combination of) heat, flame, or smoke is needed and something included in building codes. Additional fire suppression systems such as the common sprinkle or the more modern foam methods in conjunction with logically placed fire extinguishers and properly trained personnel are needed. Chemical is related to the specific industry but there are dozens of different sensors, with the terrorist attacks and "white dust" being mailed most large business has at least one form of biological or chemical detection. Modern environmental systems such as HVAC turn themselves off when sensing a fire, and contain filtration systems which respond to high amounts of air contamination.

Cheap Home Security System - Finding One For Your Consumption
During emergencies involving burglars, you need not always rely on the policemen to come to your rescue. If you would like an automatic response that would truly thwart the plans of these criminals, you could rely on the use of the home security system.
Believe this; you could get the best deals on cheap home security systems. But before that, try to first trim down the choices that you have by closely looking at the features of both the available home security systems - the hard-wired and the wireless home security systems.
1. The Features of the Hard-Wired Home Security System
You could decide to buy this type of a cheap home security system unit as offered by the company if the features herein are really up to your taste. The hard-wired home security system is best placed into the confines of your domain during the time when the house is yet built so that the needed wires and cables could be neatly placed beforehand.
By doing this, you save time and energy as well of the process of drilling for the holes onto the walls and the ceiling. The components for the hard-wired home security systems are also a lot cheaper. The reception of the signal is as well reliable and it does not weaken particularly because it runs through those wires.
Not only will this be pocket-friendly for you as well, right? However, the problem that you could be facing has something to do with the maintenance. And most importantly, the installation of the hard-wired home security system comes up with a very messy output if the house has already been built.
2. The Wireless Home Security System
Another option for a cheap home security system is to get the one which is wireless. It has more features to offer. The cheap wireless home security system ranks as the best especially if you do not want to employ any drilling of holes in your home.
With the wireless home security system, you would be rid of a lot of cable wires. You would not be cleaning any mess because there are no drills all around. In fact, you could also add up other components like the video, microphone, camera, and motion detector gadgets all at cheap prices.
With the cheap wireless home security system, you could enhance the protection of the safety of your home anywhere you are since this is Internet ready. Meaning, you could access the system if you get it connected with the WIFI network.
Many vendors are ready to give you the services of the cheap home security system. You just have to get through them.

Lie To Me's Take on the Hand-held Lie Detector On YouTube.
The 2nd episode of the new Fox television series, Lie To Me, opened with a quick debunking of the polygraph. Cal Lightman, the shows main character, is a behavioral scientist who specializes in the study of facial expressions. Asked by the Department of Homeland Security to evaluate its new hand-held polygraph, he graphically illustrates how it is no better than a primitive trial by ordeal in which a person accused of a crime must hold an egg without breaking it. It's worth noting that the questions identified in the segment as "control" questions ("Do you work for the Department of Homeland Security?" and "Do you have black hair?") are actually _irrelevant_ questions and would not be scored. Unfortunately, the hand-held lie detector seen in this episode is not something made up by Lie To Me's screenwriters. In 2008, the US Department of Defense began fielding just such a hand-held polygraph in an attempt to screen out terrorists among the local populations in Afghanistan and Iraq. For more on the "Preliminary Credibility Assessment Screening System" (PCASS), see: antipolygraph.org and for information on how this scientifically baseless "test" can be passed whether or not one is telling the truth, see: antipolygraph.org For more on Lie To Me, see: www.fox.com For more on the work of Paul Eckman that inspired the show, see: www.paulekman.com

This is an ever-growing debate within the security alarm industry; both sides have their opinions as I have mine. Since starting KeepSafe Systems, I have never installed a wireless security system. There are several reasons starting from appearance, reliability and sustainability to never having the need to and always finding a way to get a wire where it is needed.
Appearance is a large concern of many homeowners. Although transmitters have gotten smaller over the years, wireless security systems involve the installation of boxy transmitters around your doors and windows. Wireless security system supporters will often tell horror stories of holes drilled throughout your home or wires stapled all over your walls. Yes, I have seen these types of installations, for the most part, they are done by inexperienced or lazy technicians who prefer wireless security systems. Although some wire runs can be difficult and very occasionally require surface runs, there is no excuse for sloppy workmanship. Pick your security alarm installer very carefully; often the small business owner will take more care in ensuring the quality of the installation.
When it comes to the reliability of security systems, hardwire will always be the more reliable of the two. Wireless security alarm supporters of course will say "modern wireless security systems are supervised", basically this is passing over the pitfalls of the technology and adding a feature to tell you when the technology fails. This inevitably runs into expensive and time wasting service calls, equipment replacement and potential false alarms. One need only look at the cordless phone to see the pitfalls of the wireless technology. Sure they are great when you first purchase them, however, age and interference take their toll and sooner or later you have a paperweight with buttons and an LCD screen.
Sustainability is potentially the most expensive reason for choosing hardwire security systems over wireless. I can't even begin to count the changes in wireless security technology and frequencies used since getting into the business back in the late 80's early 90's. Even the wireless security system supporters will tell you that technology is always changing (Except they use the word "advancing"... it sounds better in advertising). So how do wireless security system "advancements" affect the owner of a wireless security system? Easy, say for example you were the unfortunate victim of a wireless security system sales person in 1995. Chances are if one of your motion detectors fails you will be hard-pressed to find a replacement. Simply put, you will now have to purchase an entirely new security system (Control panel, detectors, keypad etc) which depending on the size of your security alarm system will cost you as much and possibly more than if you would have installed a hardwired system to begin with. So in all fairness, I feel I should tell you what is in store for you if a hardwired detector fails. Simple, you replace the detector. Hardwire detectors are simple switches and most hardwire security system detectors are interchangeable regardless of the manufacturer.
Another factor within the realm of sustainability is the cost of upgrading. Back to the system installed in 1995. Yes there have been significant changes in security alarm technology since then. In the hardwire security system world, these changes are mostly in the area of convenience, aesthetics and features. If all your detectors are in working order, upgrading a hardwire security system simply involves changing the control panel and keypad(s). This is generally a fairly easy process and is substantially less expensive than upgrading a complete wireless system.
One last consideration in choosing hardwire security systems over their wireless counterpart is the selection of detectors. Although you can retrofit almost any hardwire detector to a wireless system, there are far more choices of detector types in hardwire. Take for example Carbon monoxide, water, natural gas, propane, vibration... and the list goes on. Wireless security systems are generally designed around the average security need of the consumer. Since detectors are not interchangeable across manufacturer lines, it would be financially unfeasible for a wireless security system manufacturer to create wireless detectors for every conceivable need. Even in the spectrum of standard detectors, there are some manufacturers who have extremely reliable detectors that only work on hardwire systems. Choosing a wireless security system can often result in you having a detector less suited for your particular application. Once again the average security need factor comes into play.
Inevitably, the choice of whether to have a wireless or hardwire security system installed is entirely up to you. In fact, your only choice may be wireless. Hopefully I have given you some information to help you along with your decision. Are you a retail business owner that is tired of shoplifting and employee theft?
If so, here are some security solutions that you may find helpful!
A lot of people think that by having a security system installed all your worries will go away, this is not entirely true. Though having a security system installed will help with big problems, it's the not noticed and smaller problems that actually make up most of a businesses loss.
FACT: According to the Department of Justice a robbery occurs every 46 seconds. Employee theft is around 48% of all business loss, and shop lifting is 31%. With facts like these, knowing you have made the right decisions regarding security in your store will keep you from being another statistic.
Having the right security company helping you with your security solutions is a big part to becoming fully aware. There are three main solutions that can help business loss decrease. First and most important would be a Point of Sale (POS) system. This is when a security provider integrates your Security Cameras with your cash registers, giving the owner or management viewing access of every item rang in. It allows viewing of price checks, items purchased, amount changed, and change received. This type of solution can save a business thousands of dollars on employee theft.
Second solution would be a Hidden/Spy Camera. This is a great way to get some video evidence without being noticed. There are several types of these cameras available. Depending on the environment in which the camera will be placed, is important. These cameras are small but affective. The variety ranges from Spy Pen, Spy MP3 Player, Spy Car Key Chain, Spy Watch and much more. This is a great solution for co-workers, baby-sitters, Neighbors, Vandalism, and much more.
The third solution is a Fake/Dummy Camera. Starting as low as .99 these cameras can make a huge difference for a business. This is not as affective, but is the least expensive, a low cost alternative for a high end security system, also known as the "digital scarecrow".Each dummy camera is designed to trick intruders. The camera is placed in a location where a problem accurse. Anyone in the general area would be given the impression they are being monitored by CCTV.
(Note: This is not a functioning camera and will not give you any actual footage.)
After a hard day of work every retail store owner should have the piece of mind knowing that they are fully secured and have taken the right steps in order to feel satisfied. Finding the right Security Provider makes all the difference.

Outdoor Wireless Security Cameras - Warn Intruders Before They Enter Your Home
If you want to ensure the security of your home, you need an outdoor wireless security camera to alert you to intruders before they can enter your house. Outdoor wireless cameras don't require cables to connect them to monitoring devices. They typically use 2.4 or 5.8 GhZ radio band technology instead to send video data to recorders or monitors. They are also housed in weather-proof and durable casings that allow them to withstand severe weather conditions as well as vandalism. Their main limitation, however, is that the radio signal is vulnerable to interference. The allowable range between the camera and the receiver may also be compromised by obstacles such as buildings that block the line of sight.
Another consideration is the power supply. If the camera will be used outside the house then you can connect it to an AC power outlet. However, if the camera will be used some distance away, you might consider buying a unit that can run on a rechargeable battery.
If you are shopping for an outdoor wireless security camera, here are some features you may want to consider, depending on your particular security needs:
One-way audio functionality that allows you to record sound and eavesdrop on people within the surveillance area. If you choose two-way audio, you can communicate with them as well as listening to them.
Day or night-vision functions that allow you to record video in varying light conditions. Choose a camera with a low lux rating, since these will be the most effective in creating an acceptable image even in very dim light.
Infrared functionality that allows you to take videos with satisfactory image quality even in dark or near-dark conditions.
Pan-tilt-zoom functions that increase the camera's field of view by allowing you to move the camera around in a variety of angles or zoom in on a particular detail.
Internet-enabled IP cameras will allow you to stream and view the video feed on your PC or mobile digital device such as a Smartphone or Blackberry. You can also set "events" and program the camera to send an e-mail alert upon detection of an event, such as when motion is detected in the monitored area.

Wireless Home Security System - Is it the Best Home Alarm System?
There are two major types of home burglar alarm system. The first is the traditional hard wired home alarm which has wire connections to all sensors and keypads. The second type is the wireless home security system which uses wireless transmission of data from sensors to the alarm. There is much discussion as to which of these is the best home alarm system. Each has its own proponents but we feel that the latest wireless systems have many advantages and we believe this to be the best choice for most homeowners and offices.
The hard wired traditional home alarm requires all the sensors from doors and windows to be connected to the central control panel by cables. The installation of a hard wired system necessitates cutting into walls and removal of skirting and floor boards in order to run the cables. This obviously entails a lot of work and repairs to walls after the installation. The net result is high cost and much disturbance of the home environment. In contrast to this a wireless home security system can be installed in an hour or two of easy work even by an amateur, do it yourself, installer.
There is really little need to hire a professional installer for this work because all it entails is setting up the sensors where you want them, and mounting the central receiver in a suitable spot. You then need to test all the sensor signals, to make sure they are working, and the job is essentially done. If you feel better about having a professional do the work of course then that is the way you should go. You will have peace of mind knowing that the job has been done properly and because of the ease of installation, of a wireless home security system, the actual installation costs should be quite reasonable.
Performance of either the hard wired home alarm system or the wireless security system is equal in all respects. There is however an advantage to the wireless alarm system in that it is battery powered. This means that an intruder cannot put it out of action by cutting wires. Should the phone line be cut the wireless home security system can respond by cellphone technology to the authorities. Cutting the phone line outside or inside the house will not deactivate the system.
Taking all these things into consideration it is fairly obvious that a wireless home security alarm system has many advantages over a hard wired system.
A clean walkthrough of the Original Half-life on Steam without commentary. This video includes chapters; Unforseen Consequences ~STORY PLOT, CONTAINS SPOILERS. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK~ Gordon Freeman arrives late for work at the Black Mesa Research Facility, using its tram system. He acquires his Hazardous Environment suit (or HEV suit) before proceeding to the test chamber of the Anomalous Materials Lab, to assist in an experiment. He is tasked with pushing a non-standard specimen into the scanning beam of the Anti-Mass Spectrometer for analysis. This creates a catastrophe called a "resonance cascade," opening a portal between Earth and a dimension called Xen. Freeman is sporadically teleported there and catches glimpses of various alien life-forms, including a circle of Vortigaunts, shortly before blacking out. Freeman awakens in the ruined test chamber and surveys the destroyed lab, strewn with the bodies of scientists and security personnel. Finding survivors, Freeman learns that communication lines to the outside world are completely cut, and is encouraged to head to the surface for help, because of his suit. His journey consists of sidestepping Black Mesa's structural damage and defending himself against hostile aliens suddenly teleporting into the area. Other survivors along the way claim that a rescue team has been dispatched, only to discover that the Hazardous Environment Combat Unit, which has taken control of Black Mesa, is killing both the aliens and the ...
